The 2016 Toyota Camry is available in five unique trim levels: LE, SE, Special Edition, XSE, and XLE. Spread across each trim is a wealth of features ranging from technology to comfort and everything in between.
The base LE trim comes with cruise control, a CD player, 60/40-split folding rear seatbacks, Siri Eyes Free, a USB/iPod interface, an auxiliary audio jack, a six-speaker sound system, voice controls, an eight-way power driver seat with two-way lumbar adjustment, Bluetooth®* audio and phone connectivity, automatic headlights, 16-inch steel wheels, a 6.1-inch Entune touchscreen electronics interface, keyless entry, heated mirrors, and air-conditioning.
The SE trim gets you 17-inch alloy wheels, a 4.2-inch information display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, a sport-themed exterior styling, and a sport-tuned suspension.
The Special Edition offers unique gauges, smoked taillights, a sunroof, 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and ignition, Qi wireless smartphone charging, and blue interior trim.
The XSE offers a leather and synthetic suede upholstery, four-way power passenger seat, 18-inch wheels, LED running lights, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats. A Convenience package is offered with the SE and XSE and comes with keyless entry and ignition and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. There are several optional safety features available for the XSE and XLE trims such as blind-spot monitoring and a rear cross-traffic alert system. You can also add a Technology package which gets you adaptive cruise control, a pre-collision warning and braking system, lane departure warning, and automatic high beam control.
The top trim, the XLE, provides leather upholstery and 17-inch alloy wheels.
As far as the engine is concerned, each trim offers a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that puts out 178 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque. The engine is front-wheel drive and comes paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Camry has long been a popular choice for drivers.
